Better Runs

by Joe Henderson

Description

Subtitled "25 Years' Worth of Lessons for Running Faster and Farther," Henderson offers sound advice over a wide range of topics in a well-written manner; hard to ask for anything more. Individual chapters, all titled "Better ...", address the following topics: goals, choices, workouts, walks, rests, schedules, results, paces, distances, courses, seasons, speeds, tests, extras, tactics, races, rewards, shoes, products, diets, cures, coaches, friends, thoughts, and years. Unlike many training books, which are really more suitable as reference books, this is one you'll enjoy reading cover to cover, and because of the way the book is broken into topics and sub-topics, it's the kind of book you can easily pick up each night and read a chapter or two.

About the Author
