Area Code Changes

If the "Mandatory Date" is shown in red, the change is currently mandatory. Click on the "New Area Code" column to see the list of exchanges which were moved to that new area code.

The "legible" form provided for each Area Code change is a format with spaces between numbers, to provide easy legibility if you are using this list in a "manual" (visual) manner. To be used with AreaCoder in its automatic mode, the number of characters placed on the clipboard must be less than 1000 (the limit of the clipboard). Thus for some Area Code changes, in which there are more than 250 exchanges, a second, "clipboard form" is provided in which spaces between numbers have been suppressed to reduce the number of characters and put the total number of characters below the clipboard limit.
